I was born and raised in Latta, SC, and I graduated from Latta High School in 2003 where I was a member of the band, cheerleading squad, and softball team. After high school, I attended Francis Marion University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English-Secondary Education in May of 2007. While at FMU, I worked as a tutor in the Writing Center and was the pianist in the FMU Jazz Express. This will be my third year teaching English at LHS and my second year as the cheerleading sponsor.
I am married and have a beautiful baby daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano, hunting, and going fishing with my husband. I am also an avid Carolina Gamecocks fan...Go Cocks!
