Born and raised in Latta, SC, I was a 1981 graduate of Latta High School. I went on to attend Coker College where I graduated with a business education degree. Since then, I have also earned my masters degree from the University of South Carolina and my administration degree from the University of North Carolina in Pembroke. I have been teaching in the business department of LHS for twenty-three years.
I have been married to Buddy Rogers for twenty-six years. We have two daughters, Maegan and Anna. Maegan graduated from the College of Charleston with a major in exercise science. After working in physical therapy, she decided to go back to school and is now working toward her Masters degree in Elementary education. I was fortunate enough to gain Christopher Bolding as a son-in-law on August 8th. Anna is a ninth grader at Latta High. Anna will be pitching for the LHS softball team, cheering for the varsity cheerlearding squad, and playing the trumpet in the LHS band this school year.
