Welcome back to the 2011-2012 school year!
Cheryl C. Stubbs
This is my 38th year of teaching. I have a B.S. degree from Winthrop University and an M.ED. from Francis Marion University. My husband and I live in Latta. We have 9 children and 13 grandchildren. I enjoy singing in two choirs, playing handbells, traveling, working with flowers, and having fun with my grandchildren. I have always loved teaching.
Students in my classroom have Individual Education Plans (IEPs). We will be working on each student's individual goals. We will also work on math, reading, science, social studies, health, and transition skills this year. Please check my calendar for homework assignments.
For the past 3 years, I have served as the Academic Challenge Coach for Latta Middle School. The team won first place trophies at Francis Marion University in 2010 and 2011.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Students will continue to review skills for annual IEP meetings. This week in math, the students will review math skills. In Language Arts, students will review grammar skills. In science, we will study amphibians. In social studies, we will work on World Landmarks. For transition skills, students will review completing forms.
