What's Happening at LHS?

Shall-go Kissie Gram Sale will be sold daily during both lunches.

The Annual JROTC Ball and Banquet will be held Friday, February 10th starting at 6:00 PM. It will be held in LHS cafeteria. Only JROTC cadets from first and second semester and their guests, faculty, staff and parents of cadets may attend. Tickets are now on sale for $8.00. See Major Thompson, Alysia Jackson, or Destiny Beckett for tickets. Parents, faculty, and staff may attend at no charge.

The sign-up forms are in the office for all students interested in running track. The deadline to sign up is February 6.

Sporting Events for this week:

Today - JV and Varsity basketball games at Green Sea. Game time is 5:00.

She was also selected as the
2011-2012 Dillon County School District 3
Teacher of the Year.

Latta High School was selected by U.S. News and World Report as one of "America's Best High Schools" again. This means that LHS is in the top ten percent of high schools in the nation. Nineteen other S.C. High Schools made the list this year. The selection was made by using data from more than 21,000 public high schools from across the country. Congratulations Vikings!
